Explore the possibilities of IconDrum.
GForce builds a twelve-part kit around an early-1980s drum-machine aesthetic, then adds editing and processing that suit a modern session. Per-part settings and the master filter, distortion, EQ and compressor are worth investigating as part of the workflow. Judge the kit’s character against the actual groove you are writing.
