Decimort 2

View image

Decimort 2 explores bit-depth reduction and resampling with controls inspired by older digital sampling.

What does it do?

D16 approaches low-resolution texture with adjustable resampling, quantisation and filtering rather than a single grit control. Jitter and dithering expand the palette further. Try thinking of it as a way to design the texture of a drum, loop or synth, while keeping a clean version available for comparison.

The key features

• Sample-rate and bit-depth processing
• Adjustable jitter and dithering
• Two quantisation approaches

Who is it worth considering for?

Beatmakers and sound designers exploring digital coloration.
