Cherry Audio’s Crumar Spirit recreates the 1983 instrument and adds extended voice and modulation options.
What does it do?
The software develops the original Spirit concept with monophonic, unison, polyphonic and cycle modes. Additional voice panels introduce variation between notes. It is worth exploring when you want a less familiar analogue-inspired programming environment rather than another version of a synth architecture you already know well.
The key features
- Crumar collaboration and original-design inspiration
- Mono, unison, poly and cycle modes
- Per-voice variation options
Who is it worth considering for?
Synth programmers seeking a distinctive vintage-inspired instrument.
