73 JR Preamp models Heritage Audio’s 73-style input stage with filtering and blending options.
What does it do?
The plugin brings a stepped gain approach and transformer-inspired coloration into software. A variable high-pass filter and blend control provide ways to manage the result without adding another parallel route. Assess it as a tone-shaping stage, while keeping a clean reference available for level-matched comparisons.
The key features
- 73-style preamp modelling
- Stepped gain control
- High-pass filtering and parallel blend
